Slow Down

It's always best for me to put items back in their designated place. Right away. This fact was reinforced for me this morning when I rushed out of the house thinking:
Get your keys. Get the garage remote. Grab your purse. Do you have your task list? Yes, it's in my planner, which is in my purse. I'll just check.
My planner wasn't in my purse. I went back into the house to search for my planner notebook. I couldn't find it. A little frustrated because I might be late for my appointment, I decide to search for my planner later. I go outside to the garage and open my back car door. That's when I see  my planner. The black notebook is on top of my car, where it apparently spent the night. I've got to slow down.

Fat Sandwich

I told myself I'd go into the shop and purchase a multi-grain bagel.  When I got inside, everyone but me was in line to get the Mega something? Power-ball? lottery tickets. There was  much lottery excitement, but not for  me. I looked at the menu and noticed the FAT SANDWICHES. Before I knew it, while others called out numbers for their lottery tickets, I ordered the FAT ROSCOE sandwich from the chalkboard. The written description: cheese steak, chicken fingers, fries, mozzarella stix, honey mustard.
It was delicious, and enough for both lunch and dinner.
Bad, bad, Sylvia. I promised myself  to not have another one for at least 6 months.

Putting one foot in front of the other.

10,000 steps per day is a health-conscious goal. I thought that should be easy for me, because I walk around a lot.
Meet my new pedometer, which let me know yesterday that I don't yet meet the 10,000 daily step goal. Yesterday, I registered 5,311 steps, and that included a session at the gym. Today is Saturday, so I didn't go to the gym, and you can see my step count so far in the picture below is 4,733. I guess I'll keep walking around the house until bedtime, because I'm determined to at least meet yesterday's count. Gotta get up from this desk and walk now. Talk to you later!
