Anyway, you know the first thing they do is weigh you. When I stepped on the scale, I did my usual silent shriek. The nurse noticed my purse and did a louder shriek, followed by, "That's a gorgeous Dooney & Bourke tote bag. You really have it stuffed. I'm curious. Let me hold it for a second. I want to see something."
I warned her about its weight, but she accepted my bag from me and put it on the scale.
It weighed 8.5 pounds. I wasn't surprised. I know I carry too much stuff.
Some of you probably do the same.
Maybe we can start a support group.
